FAQ
Those tools manage thousands of SKUs, multi-entity approvals and ERP integrations — most small importers don't need that. We built the smallest thing that solves the actual problem: a factory-ready bilingual spec sheet, every time, without a consultant.
It turns your spec sheet into a bilingual inspection document your third-party inspector can execute: every spec row becomes a numbered check item (nothing is filtered out), packaging gets its own checks, and the sampling plan — code letter, sample size, accept/reject numbers — is derived from ISO 2859-1 Table 2-A including its ↓/↑ arrow rules, so the sample size moves with the plan. Coverage is limited to General levels I–III, normal inspection, single sampling and the standard AQL columns; tightened/reduced inspection, special levels, multiple sampling and non-standard AQL values are not covered. The brief is stamped with the spec revision it was generated from. Beta: these figures come from a transcribed table, so your inspection provider must verify them against the official standard before use as an acceptance basis.
A dated timeline for everything that happens around one SKU: spec revisions, golden-sample approvals, decisions — plus your own 30-second entries for chat agreements, payments and shipments (we never parse your chat apps; you record the agreed conclusion). One click exports it as a bilingual "dispute pack" PDF. Why it matters: electronic data is a recognised category of evidence, but a chat excerpt on its own has limited probative weight; review looks at authenticity, legality, relevance and integrity, and platform claims filed without purchase documentation are frequently rejected (seller surveys, 2024–25). Limits you should know: the interface has no per-entry delete button, but this is not tamper-proof — entries are plain text in your browser and can be rewritten by importing a modified JSON or editing local storage. The pack is not notarised, is not by itself a complete chain of evidence, and is not legal advice. Attach the original contracts, invoices and shipping documents.
The next module on our roadmap — planned, not yet available: paste or upload supplier quotations and get a normalized side-by-side matrix — unit price by MOQ tier, trade terms (EXW/FOB/CIF), tooling fees, packaging assumptions — so you compare like with like, including a landed-cost estimate for China-origin goods. There is no working version of this today.
Not yet. Pro checkout is not wired up — there is no Paddle integration, no payment page and no subscription you can buy, so no invoice can be issued today. We will publish the Merchant of Record, invoicing and tax handling details before any paid plan goes live.
Today, no — the free tool runs entirely in your browser and we have no server-side copy of your product data. The planned Pro cloud library would change that if it ever ships; we will publish its storage, encryption and data-handling details before launch, and it will be an explicit opt-in rather than something that happens silently.
